Heal the Bay is a US civil society organization based in Santa Monica with a mission to protect Southern California’s coastal waters and watersheds by promoting clean water for all.

TIME TO ACT! was invited to participate in the organization’s annual fundraising dinner and bring its Climate Dreams Boxes so that the public present could leave their message regarding the climate emergency. Award-winning American actor Edward Begley and US-based Mexican journalist Gabriela Teissier were among those who recorded their messages.

For the event, TIME TO ACT! created an interaction filter for Instagram in partnership with the organization, focused on raising awareness about ocean pollution and the impact of Heal The Bay, which was recorded by the NGO’s CEO, Tracy Quinn and can be seen here.
