Scheduled for the end of November, an application created by partners Luciana Brafman and Isabella Prata hopes to attract young people to environmental causes. The Climate Dreams project brings together virtual scenarios that can be shared on the main social networks: all with a dramatic tone — that simulate catastrophes such as fires and floods.
“The person will have fifteen seconds to talk about these extreme situations and provoke reflection”, says Luciana, who became involved in the cause after spending a year in the Amazon. “And the idea is to listen to those who have a fresher mentality to understand where we went wrong”, completes Isabella.
In addition to creating a button for donations to the NGO SOS Amazonia Fund , the duo is also planning an immersive installation at Galeria Pivô with the exhibition of testimonies, a documentary on the history of activism and a video clip with names such as Chico Brown and Zélia Duncan.
